What it meant
Distributors with turnover in the tens and hundreds of millions run their sales motion on one platform, and onboarding a new tenant stopped being a project.
The challenge
The platform had grown into a .NET Framework 4.5.2 monolith with per-client deployments. Every new distributor meant standing up and operating another instance, which put a hard ceiling on growth. Orders arrived across several sales channels and had to land in each client's ERP without loss - a missed order in this business is a missed delivery.
Our approach
We re-architected the monolith into a multi-tenant modular monolith on Azure, which cut per-client operational overhead and collapsed onboarding time. On top of it we built the AI layer the commercial case rested on: order prediction, abandoned-cart recovery, and route optimization. The piece that mattered most operationally was a real-time ERP synchronization layer designed so no order can be dropped between a sales channel and the client's system of record.
